JEC World is the main event for the composites industry. After a 2-years hiatus, the trade fair was once more held in Paris to gather the main players of the sector.
1 month after the beginning of the project, it was the first event in which the partners of MC4 participated. Although it was too soon to disseminate and exploite any results yet, it was the occasion to discuss the topic of recycling carbon and glass fibre.
As for all sectors, sustainability in the composites industry is now a major stake. JEC World 2022 organised conferences on theme. Also, several companies presented sustainable composites products and processes.
For MC4, it was the opportunity to discuss the main focus of the project with other organisations from the composites industry. The partnership has a strong ambition: to make the European industry more sustainable and competitive. By gathering feedbacks and discussing the approach on such events, MC4 receives valuable inputs and marks of interest. Eventually, they will be useful for maximising the impact of MC4.
MC4 will most likely attend JEC World 2023.
