Techtextil Frankfurt is the largest trade fair dedicated to the technical textiles industry. It is held together with Texprocess, which focuses on textile processes. For the MC4 partners STFI and Techtera, it is a major event for setting up contacts, partnerships, and promote their activities.
With a growing focus on sustainability Techtextil, it was a good place and time for Techtera and STFI to present the first steps and the objectives of the MC4 project to a wide audience. Indeed, after a 1-year delay due to the pandemic, Techtextil and Texprocess returned strong with a total of 63000 visitors and 2300 exhibitors.
MC4 will be back for the next edition of the fair, in 2024. 2 year later in the project, it will be possible to present some results and work on the exploitation of these results, by showcasing the actions and accomplishments of the consortium. With the major companies, research centers, and business associations taking part in the event, MC4 hopes for a strong action to promote its results in 2 years.
