On December 17th, 2022, MC4 partner IRES presented the project at a lecture on circular economy. About 25 participants attended the presentation. Participants were academic students and professionals participating in the MSc on Bioeconomy, Circular Economy & Sustainable Development course in the University of Piraeus.
Among the elements of the presentation, facts and figures about the current problem with scrap and EOL raised questions, and a very interesting discussion was held after the end of the lecture about both the contents and the framework of MC4:
- The evolution of the manufacturing and recycling production processes
- The environmental and economical impacts of the processes developped within MC4
- The implementation of Horizon Europe projects
- The exploitation of the results of European project
The promotion of MC4 and the Horizon Europe programme will prove useful in the dissemination and exploitation of the project’s results, hopefully facilitating the adoption of the MC4 processes in the European industry.
